winter album, part one

I made this 'winter album' for R at the crop this past weekend. I have been wanting to put it together for a while, and was setting aside embellishments that were blue, white and icy. I love that the acrylic album itself has an 'icy' feel to it, too. All of the photos {from a few different days} are taken at 'the Lake' back home, where we spent a great deal of time. We were lucky to live in a 'lake community' where you could go swimming, fishing and play tennis, etc, in the summer and go skating and tobogganing, etc, in the winter. It was a special place for us - K and I both grew up in the community, and a few years ago bought a home there ourselves, so that our children could grow up there too. Well, that obviously didn't happen, as we are now living 'out east', so this album will be a reminder of home as well as an album showcasing R's winter fun and skating progress.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, so scroll down to see a crazy amount of photos...

There are more photos to come {for those of you that hung in there to see them all}!!!
