{Miss S and R} On the official Family Day weekend, we had an unofficial family fun day.
We were invited to a BBQ and skating party on the lake at Monique's parents house in Chelsea, Quebec. It is a beautiful area, just a short drive across the river from downtown Ottawa {most of the area consists of Gatineau Park}. 
R and Miss S had so much fun, skating and playing hockey for hours with their friends. The only time they stopped skating was to sit by the fire to eat. {Actually Miss S may have been more excited about the hot dogs, hot chocolate and marshmallows part, than she was about the skating part...}
Christine brought her three boys along, and Cathy's Dad came too {but Cathy and her family were too sick to make it}. We had such a great time!Family. Fun. Day.
