You'll wake up on Easter morning
And you'll know that he was there,
When you find those choc'late bunnies
That he's hiding ev'rywhere, oh!
On Easter Sunday, I was woken up by the sound of Miss S unwrapping chocolate eggs...
Did Miss S come running to tell the rest of us that the Easter Bunny had been here? Nope. She came out of her room, saw a trail of eggs {pink and purple eggs} from her room, and one from R's {blue and green eggs}, and sat down to snack!
R quickly got ahead of Miss S on the egg trail, because she kept forgetting her basket. She was too busy eating.
After we slowed down the boy, both kiddies enjoyed an egg hunt together. We were given the rules by R. "No one sits down until we have found all the eggs". This is because last year Mommy almost smooshed an egg that was hidden behind a pillow. {Well, when you wake me up at the crack of dawn...I may need to crash on the couch at some point}!
After a relaxing morning at home, we cleaned up the kiddies {washed the chocolate from Miss S's cheeks}...
When I put Miss S in a dress, R said he also wanted to be fancy, so he dug out his tie {that thing is getting way more use than I thought}...
Renee and her family joined us to celebrate Easter dinner together {why did I not take any photos of our guests?}. It was a great day!
